如果用一步登天來形容生起菩提心的榮耀，那也是遠遠不夠的。得到了人身，值遇了教法，彷彿一座天梯，在自己的面前降臨，生起菩提心的機會唾手可得。如果將握在手中的機會白白丟掉，還有什麼比這個失去更令我們痛心的！

To describe the glory of developing bodhicitta as a single step up to heaven would be far from adequate. Having attained the human body and encountered the Dharma, just like a ladder to heaven has descended before us, and the opportunity to generate bodhicitta is within our grasp. If we throw away the opportunity in our hands, what loss would be more painful than this!
