Only when we contemplate the suffering of all sentient beings do our brows furrow, our hearts ache, and we vow to achieve Buddhahood in a bid to comfort them. As we sigh all day long, we suffer unbearably, wasting our lives in vain. Isn't living in this manner just as tasteless as chewing wax?
