The real problem, the root causes, do not originate from the external environment. We always feel that the problem is with the external environment, so we try desperately to change the external environment, to get rid of the suffering. No matter what happens in the external environment, if we are able to focus on how our mental continuum perceives the external environment, earnestly observe the root of the problem and ways of resolving it, we will no longer be far from happiness.
