It is mentioned in the Prajnaparamita Sutra that there are four demons - the demon of afflictions, the demon of the Deva's son, the demon of Lord of Death, and the demon of the five aggregates. Where do these demons come from? Basically, our inner demons. The most captivating part about Buddhism is that it aims at our mind, subduing our inner thoughts, all demons can no longer endanger us.
